Chobe Bush Lodge opened in October 2014 and is a valuable addition to existing options in the town of Kasane.
This lodge sits within the same grounds and is part of the same group as Chobe Safari Lodge which we think is one of the best places to stay in Kasane, we also know the groups management very well and have been kept informed of the progress of this new lodge. Due to the same high standards being applied as its sister lodge, we have absolutely no problem in recommending this establishment.

Wildlife
Kasane, although being a town, is still quite wild and you may well see herds of elephant moving down from the hills and through the town on their way to the river. It is however the Chobe National parks here that hols the wildlife interest.
The Chobe River Front is teeming with buffalo and elephant. Away from the river is mile upon mile of dry land only dotted with waterholes, therefore the river is an absolute haven for the game that needs it. As ever, if there is a large presence of game, there are large numbers of predators, mostly lion.
On the flats around the river area, aside from the normal game, the more interesting antelope you may see are good levels of red lechwe, the similar looking puku and the rare Chobe bushbuck. To the southern end of the chobe rover area can be found good numbers of roan and sable antelope, and if you are lucky, more inland you will find eland.
Birdlife, as expected on the river area can be spectacular and you may see birds that may be more difficult to see elsewhere such as African skimmers, spoonbills and giant kingfishers. Together with a surprising array of raptors, the Chobe river front area is a stupendous location for birders.

Chobe Bush Lodge is situated in Kasane directly on the border with Chobe National Park and within 150m from Chobe River front, and is the sister Lodge to Chobe Safari Lodge.
Right on our doorstep four African countries meet ( Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia), Chobe Bush Lodge will therefore offer an excellent gateway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.
Close proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport and Kasane International Airport makes us easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Bush Lodge.
Room Description
The flagship accommodation will consist of 38 spacious luxury en-suite rooms each one with open plan bathroom featuring both bath and a shower, air-conditioning, TV and safe. The rooms will be completed in modern-bush style design.
Bottom rooms will have verandas while the top rooms will have balconies with exquisite views over Chobe National park .
There will be 4 large exclusive family rooms consisting of two separate bedrooms each with its own en-suite facilities ( Twin & Double beds).
The rooms and facilities of Chobe Bush Lodge will have mixed views over Chobe National Park and Chobe floodplains in the far distance.
