Overview
This is an exclusive use camp, and is ideal for those who appreciate privacy and magnificent African wildlife.
There are only two luxury canvas tents in the camp, one double tent and one family tent. Both luxury tents contain en-suite bedrooms with modern bathrooms, patio decks and relaxation areas, and romantic outdoor bathtubs and showers.
The camp also has a private dining and lounge area including a plunge pool with views of 1000 Palm Island.
Gomoti Private is a mini version of the main camp, with two rooms situated either side of the main  area with its own plunge pool.
Accommodation quite cavernous in size and made from grey canvas and steel poles. Each tent as standard has a small seating area outside with chairs for you to relax in and a table and a canvas washbasin to wash you hands in. Through a large zipped doorway (in traditional African bush camp style) you are led into the main area comprising of a large room with a very large “campaign” style steel bed. Grass matting covers most of the floor and there is a lovely writing table, lamp and chair together with a beautiful soft armchair.
A canvas slipway to the rear leads you to the large ablution area with unusually designed his and hers wash basins with his and hers leather-clad hanging mirrors. Also in this area is a good sized internal shower and toilet. There is also a doorway that leads to a lovely and unique outside shower… unique as in the shower’s effect is that it passes through a bucket… those of us who travel to the bush often, know exactly what a bucket shower is!
The family rooms are simply vast, with two adjoining tents with a lounge area in the middle with sofas etc…
Room Description
Each room is designed to maximise privacy and optimise views of the land and we take our decor inspiration from a traditional African safari in terms of the fabrics, texture and hues that we use.
There is a feeling of opulence with consideration for the environment, which is why there are no permanent structural fixtures and the camp relies on solar energy, forgoing energy-heavy appliances such as shavers, air-conditioning and hairdryers.
The en suite luxury bathrooms have hot and cold running water and western-style flush toilets, enabling you to refresh, relax and reflect on another exciting day in nature.
It is not often that one can shower under the twinkle of the stars (or the bright sun) in complete and total privacy.
