The newsly refurbished Savute Elephant Lodge resides in the Savute region of Chobe National Park and sits right on the banks of the Savuti Channel which has now been flowing for a number of years.
Probably the most luxurious camp in this area each large room offers you air-conditioned comfort and the excellent facilitates of a hotel chain, of which this camp is part of. The lodge does reside in a National Park and at this price you will encounter vehicles from other lodges and self drivers. This should not take anything away from the fantastic game that you may see as the region has come back to prominence with the flowing channel.

Wildlife
Now that water has returned to the Savuti Marsh, more breeding herds of elephants are being attracted, as are herds of buffalo that were harder to see in past years. The Zebra migrations attend during the summer months further swelling the numbers of general plains game.
Always known for its predators, Savuti is most famous for its lions, but populations of Leopard and hyena are good, you must always look out fort cheetah and wild dog, which are also know to travel in the area..
