The Sky Beds are associated with Hyena Pan and Sable Alley in the Khwai area of the Okavango.
This is a separate camp and facilities such as foods are cooked around the campfire. Sky Beds can only be booked in junction with either of the two camps above.
It is a fantastic experience to sleep out at tree-top level and its 2 stars only reflect its very basic nature.
The camp is closed in the rainy season.

Various other species frequent the area – kudu, waterbuck, red lechwe, eland, impala, roan, buffalo, water hog and many more. One can enjoy a morning or afternoon game drive in an open 4×4 game drive vehicle exploring the 350,000 hectare private concession which allows for excellent game-viewing exclusively to Hyena Pan guests.
Alternatively take an easy drive along the renowned Khwai River, where there is perhaps an opportunity to photograph one of the many graceful leopards who are habituated to the area.

Overview
This is a very basic affair and there is no camp as such… the Sky Beds are simple platforms in a area close to a waterhole… there is no lodge and these are elevated hides with a shower and loo under each hide, incorporating a private changing area. Sleep under the stars & mosquito net, on top of one of the Skybeds.
