Royal Tree Lodge Map
Royal tree lodge is the best accommodation you can find in the Maun environs.
Not in the centre of Maun itself, the lodge is around 15km outside in a private game reserves that sits on the banks of the Thamalakane River. The accommodation is very good as is the lodge itself and food. Amongst varied activities here you are able to walk around the reserve yourself and spot the fair numbers plains game (there are no predators here) and perhaps take advantage of the excellent horse riding facilities they have, run by David Foot of Ride Botswana.
If you are after the ultimate break in Maun, then we would strongly recommend staying at Royal Tree Lodge.
